ROUND HERE WE
TALK,
CARE & HOPE

Heyo-02.png

At different times, all of us struggle; and all of us have questions.

That is why, round here,

  • we are ok to talk about what is going on for each other

  • we want to care for each other well and practically

  • and we want to offer hope into ANY situation or with ANYTHING we are dealing with

And life isn’t easy!

  • Sometimes circumstances can get on top of us. We live in a broken world with hurt and sickness and pain and struggle

  • Others can sometimes cause us hurt and pain

  • We can sometimes make choices ourselves that harm us and hurt others around us

The really good news is that Jesus seems to do an amazing job of being ok with talking about anything. He always seems to show care no matter the circumstances and he always offers hope. Here at MCBC, we like that approach!

We aren’t designed to deal with struggles on our own. So a great place to start is finding someone you can trust who you think can offer you good healthy talk, real honest care and point you to genuine hope.

  • Have a think about who you could talk to. Think about who may have good skills in an area you are struggling with. Sometimes it may be outside of our peer group, a professional, or you could contact a church staff member.

  • If you approach someone and you don’t seem to get good talk, care and hope… please don’t give up! You are way too important, right? Working through what concerns you have is too important.

We also want to say that there is a God that cares so much for you – and he longs to talk, care and give you hope as well!

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13

Round here, we talk, care & hope.
